Erminio installed a tile backsplash for us and he was very professional and clean - he covered the floor, the counters, wiped everything down before he left . Thank you Erminio, my bathroom came out beautiful! I replaced a shower/tub arrangement with a fully tiled shower stall, floor and baseboard in a 150yr old farmhouse. Erminio dealt with all the idiosyncrasies of an old home and built me a beautiful, modern bathroom. I have super high expectations and very rarely hire anybody. I took a leap of faith from my contractor anxiety and I couldn’t be happier. Erminio has old world craftsmanship, great ideas on how to deal with complexities, has his own system of building error proof shower pans & drain, and works cleanly and methodically. He communicated every detail to me with pictures, phone calls and txts while he was working. I’d come home from work and the only evidence that he was here was the continuous progress. Everything was clean, picked up and organized as if he never came. He was honest and fair in his pricing as well. I sincerely appreciate everything... and I have a kitchen floor for you next!
Ernie was, well, earnest. This guy was serious about his work and could, at times, be stern. However, Ernie was the only contractor who came in and asked what I wanted done. Others brought grandiose visions about a project far too big for my preference. Ernie's estimate was very reasonable and proved to be exactly on, just about to the cent, which I really appreciated. The job was delayed a day because of a mistake I made, locking him out!! Nonetheless, he returned the next day and finished. The work was perfect, tile and the plumbing. He contended with walls that were anything but level in a very old house. Great job. Would love to see him open to the possibility of returning to someday do "part 2" of this project!
Erminio was excellent. I had a small repair job. He repaired and replaced 3 tiles and relayed 2 bullnose tiles. He was very professional, skilled, and knowledgeable. I was very satisfied with the work he did- looks beautiful. He is also very neat since he had to cut existing tile. I would highly recommend Erminio and so glad he would take a small job!!!

Erminio does a wonderful job! We had our 50s era bathroom totally redone, replacing the tub with a new tiled shower and replacing the old vanity, sink, and toilet. As he removed the old fixtures, Ermie found problems with the 60 year old plumbing, which he promptly repaired. To redo the floor, Ermie needed to demolish the old concrete floor to replace it with new bed and tile. Despite all this destruction, at the end of each day he left the site neat and ready for the next day. And our new bathroom is looking beautiful!
Erminio is a one man army! He turned my eyesore of a bathroom into a thing of beauty. He finished ahead of schedule and did a great job. I had no qualms about leaving him alone in my house-probably the only contractor I ever felt that way about.

While the bathroom is not large there was allot of work to be done as we converted our old ugly bathtub into a new beautiful tiled walk-in shower, we also replaced our floor tile, vanity, toilet, light fixture , medicine cabinet and upgraded from a bathroom fan to a fan/light. Erminio did all the work! He even ran into a few plumbing issues and fixed those as well! We are very happy with our new master bathroom and would recommend the tile man!!

From our initial meeting with Erminio, we knew that we wanted him to do our bathroom renovation which entailed removing a bathtub and constructing a walk-in shower with a frameless glass shower door, tile wainscoting around all the walls and a new tile floor. Our intuition proved to be justified. He listened to what we wanted and gave advice when we asked for it or needed it but did not impinge his own ideas on us which was important to us. His work ethic is exemplary and he worked tirelessly to get the job finished as expeditiously as possible given that we only have one full bathroom. Erminio is a master craftsman in the truest sense of the term. He is meticulous and a perfectionist in every aspect of his work. After an initial demo that went badly and ended in one of the men crashing through our kitchen ceiling, he determined to do the entire job himself - plumbing, wall tile, floor tile, drywall - everything! And everything was done to perfection! He is very neat and was careful to clean up as much as possible every day. The result is an absolutely gorgeous bathroom and a walk-in shower to die for. Erminio is a real “Old World Craftsman” who is quickly identified in today’s world of remodeling mediocrity or “good enough” remodelers. The first meeting was a positive experience with a lot of questions and answers. He gets a good vision of what you expect at the finish line and explains how he will get there. He keeps you informed every step of the way as to what to expect and asks for your feedback every day to address any concerns you may have as progress moves along. Our project was a small 1960’s bath remodel which involved removing a bath tub, vanity, flooring, and toilet. The tub was replaced with a beautiful custom step in shower that showcases Erminio’s craftsmanship. We had tile flooring put down, a new vent fan, new vanity, and toilet were also installed. The project was a breath taking success. We would unquestionably recommend Erminio ( the Tile Man) if you want “CRAFTSMANSHIP” and NOT mediocrity for your project.
